As the 2024 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to submit an application for funding from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The applying window will shut on 15 December 2024, and there are not many days left to submit applications. Eligible college students are urged to apply promptly to secure fiscal aid for his or her post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.
Nkabane reported this pivotal moment marks the fruits of several years of effort and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their tests with determination and self confidence.
With Just about 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this 12 months's matric examinations, across South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the read more public of the department's preparedness to administer the exams effortlessly.
