Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to strengthening South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services during an engagement with all the company's senior supervisors at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% from the registered pupils inside the education sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
